Take back up

Make sure you are installing only on Samsung galaxy Note N 700 and battery is 70% charged and now once this is done after downloading the ROM from below move to this article from below link,

Also make sure you have enabled USB debugging in your phone and for that you may follow setting< applications < USB debugging,

Download Official XXLC2 Gingerbread 2.3.6 Firmware

Download Official XXLC2 Gingerbread 2.3.6 Firmware file from below as per your country.

To update the official ROM you need to get in to download mode now open Odin and connect your Samsung Galaxy Note and once you connect it in odin ID: COM will turn yellow and this means your Galaxy Note is well-connected to the Odin.


Now in Odin in Bootloader select SPH-D720_IMM76D_KE1_BOOTLOAD_signed.tar, in PDA select SPH-D720_IMM76D_PDA_signed.tar, in Phone select SPH-D720_IMM76D_LC1_Modem_signed.tar. Now once all this done click on START and wait for the installation to take place and then once it is done your Samsung Galaxy Note will restart and then you need to get your Samsung Galaxy Note in to recovery mode.

Note: Usually there would be three files then you need to select files as mentioned above and just in case there is only one file then select only in PDA.

In recovery mode tap on Wipe data/factory reset and then Wipe Cache partition and then reboot your phone and just in case if the installation stops then remove the battery, reinsert it and you will be able to do it.
