Install DocHappy ROM With Root on NEXTBOOK 7 Premium Tablet
Recently we saw an article on XDA about Notebook 7 premium tablet PC for DocHappy ROM which is already being tested and now live on XDA. NEXTBOOK 7 Premium Tablet is 7 inch tablet PC which is available in USA for $299 and It comes with wi-fi, G-sensor and Android 2.3 which is pretty good to use and it also has Capacitive Touch-Kobo-Cortex-A8 1GHz processor. Now when we talk about this DocHappy ROM it was first introduced in December, 2011 and that time it did not gain too much of popularity but now it is brought to attention by XDA blog.

This update should be tried on NEXTBOOK 7 Premium Tablet and should be tried on serial number starting with YF1011 and in some cases it is YF1211.
There are two types of ROMS CRAMFS STYLE 3.0 and full on root v2.0. The CRAMFS STYLE 3.0 has inbuilt SU but you can not write to the system directory. Full on root will give you read and write to the system and you may customize it as per your wish.
Install CRAMFS STYLE 3.0
Now to install CRAMFS STYLE 3.0 download the file from here and then you need to take the update.img file on root of you SD card and switch on your tablet and follow these instructions. After running the self extracting zip file you will get to see a lot of files and they are as below,

Language(folder)

Rkusb.log
RkusbComm.dll
Setting.ini
RK29update.exe
You need to now plug your nextbook premium tablet PC into your PC via usb cable. Turn your nextbook over and with a safety pin or something of similar size, press and hold the reset button for 2 to 3 seconds.
Now you need to run the RK29update.exe
Select your Rom files via the boxes containing the …. And navigate to the correct directory for the rom you want to install.
Insert eache file in order according to the update tool.
Clear IDB. (this is like a lowlevel format for the Rom tool:
After the Tool says OK. Select Run. This will begin to load the Rom onto your tablet. It will go through loading and then checking the Rom install.
After the Rom loads and the tool comes back with an OK, patiently wait for the tablet to reboot, and load the new ROM. If the tablet is still connected to the pc via USB when the rom boots it will show the screen allowing you to select weather or not to turn on USB storage. Press the home key and you will be given a choice of Golauncher or Rklauncher. (go lock is a screen lock program.)
